LifeWriters Class
Lifewriters is a group of writers who meet on Wednesdays
at 1 pm. This class is to help you get started and the group
encourages you as you write about your Life Stories. You
will be given a writing assignment each week, which you
will share with the group the following week. No charge,
just bring your pencil.








Art Class
Irene Unruh, local artist, leads the
class in various mediums of Art
Craft. There is No Charge for the
instruction.

TOPS
TOPS® (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) is the oldest international, non-profit, non-commercial weight- loss support
group. TOPS mission is to support our members as they take and keep off pounds sensibly. Weekly meetings
include private weigh-ins and a program. Program provides members with positive reinforcement and motivation
to adhere to food and exercise plans provided by their personal physician or professional health care provider.

TOPS meets at the Senior Center
every Thursday at  8:30am for
weigh-in, followed by a meeting.
The group has met at the Senior
Center for over Twenty Years.

Beginning Line Dancing Classes
Starting July 11th, Beginning Line Dancing Classes will be held every Wednesday and Friday at 8:30am. The
Instructor is Donna Christensen. No reservations needed and there is no charge for this class.

  • STEPS: Seniors Together Enjoy Physical Success: Physical Activity Class offered at the Senior Center
    every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 - 11am. Call (620) 272-3620 to register. No charge for
    classes and the space is limited. $10 annual assessment fee applies. The STEPS program focuses on
    endurance, strength, balance, posture and flexibility. This is a Kansas Department on Aging Program
    funded by Western Kansas Community Foundation.


  • Tai Chi - A traditional Chinese mind-body relaxation
    exercise consisting of 108 intricate exercise sequences
    performed in a slow relaxed manner. Tai Chi combines
    movement, meditation and breath regulation to enhance
    the flow of vital energy in the body, improve blood circulation,
    and enhance immune functions. Tai Chi is one of the most
    broadly applicable system of self-care in the world. In
    China, it is estimated that 200 million people practice
    Tai Chi everyday.

    The Senior Center offers three sessions of Tai Chi
    classes every year. The next session is being held
    every Tuesday and Thursday at 10am, the first three weeks
